The Investment Viewer grid displays the current portfolio securities and the available days of investment information this month. The daily Close price is displayed for Stocks and the daily Bid price is displayed for Funds.
To add a stock or mutual fund to your portfolio, select the appropriate Exchange, then choose the stock or fund from the list on the left. You can either double-click on the item or click the Add button once the item is highlighted. There is a limit of 20 items per portfolio.
To remove a stock or mutual fund from your portfolio, select the item from the display grid and press the Delete key or click the Remove button.
You can create multiple portfolio files. Once you have created a portfolio, select Save from the Portfolio menu. Only the security name and Exchange information will be saved (not daily values). This enables the Investment Viewer to load your portfolio each month and
display current values.
To open a portfolio you have created, select Open from the Portfolio menu.
To graph the performance of the stocks and funds within a portfolio, click on the Graph button. On the graph, missing values will use the previous day's value. Printing of the graph goes directly to the default Windows printer, no prompt is given.
To export the current portfolio to a comma delimited ASCII text file for use in a separate spreadsheet or word processor program, select Export from the Portfolio menu.
To copy the current portfolio data to a tab delimited ASCII format on the Windows clipboard for pasting into other applications, select Copy to Clipboard from the Edit menu.
